| Bio: | Hi, I'm Sara! I'm a little quirky, upbeat person. I love meeting nice, fun people. Drop me a note if you'd like to friend me! As for hobbies, I like the internet and frequently visit the LJ, but I also enjoy drawing, hanging with friends, watching TV shows and cartoon movies, reading, running (I've joined the 5K club!), working out, and walking in the park. I'm also something of an activist. I am into many progressive causes. Animal rights is a big one for me: I have been a vegetarian for almost five years. I'm also vested in human rights issues and the atrocities that occur around the world.
I graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Science (as a biology major). I worked for SCORE!, which is a Kaplan based group for younger children. I tutored, planned lessons, and graded papers. It inspired me to become a teacher myself. I moved to Rutgers in the fall to attend their graduate school, but I was unhappy there so I headed back to the Maryland area. Now I'm attending American University, where I hope to become a high school biology by Spring of 08. Hooray!
