As for hobbies, I like the internet and frequently visit the LJ, but I also enjoy drawing, hanging with friends, watching TV shows and cartoon movies, reading, running, working out, and walking in the park. I'm also something of an activist. I am into many progressive causes. Animal rights is a big one for me: I have been a vegetarian for over six years. I'm also interested in human rights issues and the atrocities that occur around the world.
I graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Science (as a biology major). I'm completed my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree this spring at American University. I now teach high school biology up in Anne Arundel County. It's my first year and I am very excited!
